Pet Pics

Susie left us in November 2005 at the age of 12 1/2. We were all ddevastated, but I figured we would be fine with one dog. We were not. Sam was not dealing well at all with not having the Queen Mother of Bassets around. Thanks to the help of Wisconsin Basset Rescue Basset Buddies Rescue we found Sally and she is a wonderful little girl. She had already had a litter of pups at the age of a year and a half! You wouldn't know it, she has rediscovered puppyhood and acts like one herself. Sam is much brighter and enjoys teaching his little friend, although she is quickly adapting to moving into the new "Queen Basset" position! Rescue is a wonderful option and I want to thank Basset Buddies Rescue for coming to our aid.
